F-A.com: Who is your hero and why?

DENISE EMERY JESSEL:
1 have to say that Gary (my husband) is my hero. He is a very calm, kind, strong and caring person that is always there to help anyone if they need him.

Gary has helped guide our family through emotional, personal and financial needs to overcome difficult times in our lives . Gary never forgets to smile, and find words of encouragement for everyone. He's also a great problem-solver in our business. If someone comes to him with a problem, he will help them to solve it.

I am very lucky to know and love this man for 50 years .

F-A.COM: How did Frankford prepare you for the adult world?

At Frankford, I received a well-rounded education, which formed the foundation of my adult life.

Mr. Donohoe, my Sophomore Honors English teacher. Even though the course material was very difficult for me, calmly mentored me through it.

DENISE EMERY JESSEL:

I'm in charge of accounting for a large real estate business in Ocean City. We bought Fox Real Estate in 1985 and now our children are working with us. One of my goals is to see our children take over the operation and continue the company' s growth and success.

and work hard.

F-A.COM: If you could hop in a DeLorean and go back to your last year at Frankford, what would you tell yourself?

DENISE EMERY JESSEL:

If I could go back to my senior year at Frankford, I would tell seventeen-year-old Denise to believe in yourself and follow your instincts.
F-A.COM: Tell us about your family.

My family is my greatest accomplishment. Gary and I have been married for 48 and 1/2 years. We have two daughters, 47 and 45 and they're married with two children each--D.J. and her husband Clay have two daughters: Carley 21 and Sydney 18. Carley is a junior at Rowen University and Sydney is a senior at Ocean City High School and plans to go to FAU (Florida Atlantic University) in the Fall.

Tricia and her husband, Paul, have a son Jacob 14 and a daughter, Sienna 13, and they attend Ocean City Intermediate School. We are lucky to have everyone living in Ocean City, and we get to spend a lot of quality time together as a family.
