Tell us about your Frankford experience?

ROB:

I played every single sport. And I was in the arts programs, (AMP) Arts Music and Performance. I was also in choir, and played JV baseball and soccer.
I was the class clown, the one who made people laugh.

Who inspired you at Frankford?

ROB:

Mr. Wells and Ms. Bellar. Mr. Wells was my history teacher. He was a character, a very funny guy. We got along great.

HOW DID FRANKFORD PREPARE YOU FOR THE WORLD?

ROB:

Frankford helped me control my temper. When I joined the choir, it calmed me down. I was ambitious, the gotta go, gotta do this type. I became calmer.
I was also one of the disciplinarian assistants. A Peer Mediator...we were the ones to get the students and take them to the Disciplinarian. If a teacher had a problem with a student , it was the Peer Mediator's responsibility to get the student to the office for the conflict resolution.

What was life like the first few years after high school?

ROB:

I started as a dishwasher at Pizza Hut and left as a store manager. I married my best friend, Julia in 2005 (fellow choir member) and started a family. I'm currently a server at the Hook & Reel, a Cajun seafood restaurant.

What advice would you give today's students.

ROB:

Don't sweat the small stuff...that was always my motto. And Dont' be so angry, enjoy your friends.
